enterprise management tools to ensure that your IT Infrastructure is
managed effectively.
Each class of service
provides the standard infrared features with enhancements based on
customer requirements.
Typical the service is
offered using 3 different levels of coverage
Class 1
Utilising a secure probe
based architecture Infrared monitors your infrastructure from within
your network, negating issues with remote access, clashing IP ranges
and issues with connectivity across third party networks.
The service is based on
a scalable model allowing us to monitor from between 10 - 500
devices from any single infrared probe.
Customers access their
status and reporting information via the secure Infrared portal.
Class 2
For solutions that
require increased application and system monitoring infrared is
based on Hewlett Packard technology a platform dedicated to your
network and system monitoring based in our secure data centres.
Increased features
include real-time traffic flow diagrams, thresholding and alerting
for various SNMP metrics.
Class 3
For enterprise
networks consisting of large numbers of networking devices, servers, applications
and nodes, Infrared is based around HP Openview technology.
From our secure NOC's
customers networks are monitoring intensively using HPOV NNM and
other enterprise products such as CiscoWorks LMS, ACS, HP Sitescope.
This service includes advanced features such as Root Cause Analysis,
Event Correlation, Change control procedures, configuration backup
and restoration and in depth network analysis. This service is presented to the
customer using HP Openview Service Information Portal.
